We see nature’s beauty everywhere around us. Do you know how all of these were created? In the beginning, nothing of nature was there, only God was there. Then, God created everything we see around us, in seven days. We are going to learn about these seven days of creation.

First day of creation: On day one God said, "Let there be light" and there was light. Then God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light, ‘day’, and the darkness He called ‘night’. From that day, when it's dark it would be 'night'; and when it's light, it would be 'day'.

Second day: God made the earth and the beautiful blue sky.

Third day: God separated the water from the land. The gathered water was called the “sea”, and the dry land was called the “earth” Then, God filled the land with all sorts of plants, trees, shrubs and bushes.

Fourth day: God made the sun to give light during the day, the moon and the stars to shine in the night. God created to them to help people calculate days, years and seasons.

Fifth day: God created every living and moving thing that fills the waters. He created all kinds of fish – whales, dolphins, octopus, and all sort of fish in the ocean. God made birds too on the same day.

Sixth day: God made animals and then He made a man in His own image to enjoy and take care of all that He had created. He named the man Adam. God looked around and was happy with all He had made. After six days, the whole universe was completed.

Seventh day: God rested on the seventh day, so God blessed the seventh day and made it holy.
